The internet went berserk a few days back at the prospect of a possible collaboration between Grammy winners Daft Punk and Jay Z. With the innumerable rumored collaborations the French robots have sparked, this one now seems an authentic one as blogging website Pitchfork confirms its status as a working track for the French Duo’s work on sci-fi blockbuster “Tron:Legacy”.
While most seemed to unanimously agree that the splendid studio work of Daft Punk on the movie score was what set the film apart, the absence of this mammoth collaboration could only be interpreted as not reaching the perfection standards of the Robots or not fitting the tone of the rest of the original soundtrack. Simply titled ‘Computerized‘, the collaboration gives evidence of the track being produced atleast before 2012 as it distinctly spells the rapper describing life through a BlackBerry (now how long ago was that again!) Still, with this much quality on a collaboration, it would do grave injustice to at least not have a listen in. So check out the track below and let us know if you think this could have featured alongside ‘Son of Flynn‘ or ‘Derezzed‘!
