Six months ago Nicky Romero opened up his Protocol Radio show with a massive new track ID’d only as ‘NaOH’, sending the interwebs into a crazed treasure hunt to find the origin of the track.
Up until last week, the producers identity was kept strictly hush-hush, when Armada Music revealed Askery as the producer behind the smashing track.
The track features a sharp, yet slick blend of hard, stuttering beats, tribal vocal samples, and ethnic percussive breakdowns. Perfect for prime time sets and Festival/Arena stages.
It’s not only Dutch maestro Romero giving Askery and ‘NaOH’ his full support, but the young producer’s track has featured across live sets and radio shows from W&W, NERVO, Sick Individuals, MAKJ, Dzeko & Torres and GLOWINTHEDARK, only serving to increase the buzz around the single.
With ‘NaOH’ set to see the light of day on Beatport on February 24th, we can’t wait to see what else is in store from this young talent.
