Grammy-award winning French DJ/producer Cedric Gervais brought forth a stunning remix of Lana Del Rey’s track “Summertime Sadness”, which went on to become the anthem for 2013. Now adding to his repertoire of pop-star remixes, Gervais has now revealed his remix of “Adore You”, Miley Cyrus‘ melancholic ballad from her, ‘Bangerz’ album.

In Cedric’s typical fashion, the downtempo original is instilled with adrenaline pumping beats. Equipped with striking builds and roller-coaster lifts which are concocted with intervals of Cyrus’s belting chorus lines, Gervais’ remix manages to strike a chord.

According to a recent interview with Billboard, Gervais had received a request specifically from the wild-child pop star herself to remix her single. “Miley Cyrus called me and asked me to work with her on ‘Adore You’ “, Gervais explained. Adding that, “It’s finished, she loves it”.

If Gervais’ previous success is any indicator, his remix of “Adore You” should be a huge EDM/mainstream crossover track, and fans shouldn’t be surprised if his version of the song overtakes the original. Luckily, we won’t have to wait too long for its official release, as it has been stated it will be officially releasing sometime in March, just in time for Winter Music Conference.
