Israeli Tech & Deep House veteran Guy J kicks off 2014 with a delightful combo of seasoned classics sprinkled with some contemporary Tech seasoning! Taking two gems from the yesteryear, Guy J has done some splendid rework on them, as he releases them on his sophisticated imprint Lost & Found. Sensual & hypnotic, like most of his own productions, Guy J packs a punch with these two as he spells out a year of acoustical gems.
“The Fade” by yesteryear Electronica legend Mischa van der Heiden aka Ambassador was originally released in 1999 on the Dutch Smash Trax label, before being licensed to the influential Platipus Records label in the UK. The remix by Guy J resurrects the track in its Holy spirit, as a caressing synth loop caresses some beautiful atmospheric & pad work. This one’s surely a keeper!
Twice As Nice was an early project by Dutch trance producers Tom Coogan & Paul Harris. Their underground classic “Overture” was originally released as a B-Side on Dutch label HS Records in 1999 and has long stood out for its exceptional production skills. Guy J’s magical rework lends an alternate course for this classic as he breathes life into this classic guiding it back onto the dancefloors. Check out these two gems from Guy J below!
