Swedish House Mafia to premiere “Leave The World Behind” documentary at SXSW in March

The famed Swedish trio of Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso collectively known until recently as Swedish House Mafia are set to officially leave the world behind this March!

Ever since parting ways in March last year, the three superstars left us with a void which has not been filled. Closing last year’s Ultra Music Festival, the world said goodbye to the Swede’s, who left behind a legacy much larger than life. However, excitement for fans seems to be just around the corner as Swedish House Mafia have announced that their highly awaited documentary – ‘Leave This World Behind’ will premiere this March at SXSW in Austin.

Going back a little to October of 2013, as it seemed the dust had been settled, a trailer of the tell all documentary of the trio’s journey together through unbelievable superstardom surfaced. Arousing rumours, excitement, and nostalgia altogether, the short clip titled, ‘Clip One’ brought back a wave of emotion for fans all over the planet and gave many of us goosebumps as each frame of the footage of the lavish lifestyle and the somber turn it takes as the three best friends are torn to pieces by the very same lifestyle shone in front of our eyes. A sweet yet sad, composition of “Leave This World Behind” played through the video clip as Ultra‘s main-stage fireworks shot up into the gorgeous Miami night sky and Swedish House Mafia said, goodbye.

Taking to their twitter to announce the premiere of the full documentary at SXSW, SHM as they are fondly referred to by fans established that they would be coming together for a brief moment and fans worldwide will have the opportunity to take an inside look all the glamour and fame.

All said and done, to put it simply, Swedish House Mafia has a story to tell and come March we for one will be eagerly awaiting to see how it all unfolds.
