SHAAN & NDS and Blue – Bharat (Official Video)

With the video of their collaboration, ‘Bharat’, Shaan and NDS & Blue have tried to create a dance track with a heartwarming message, and that is that music is for everyone – a binding force, that connects people from every walk of life. The video itself depicts the dismal atmosphere of the slums contrasted with the smiling faces of the children. They ask Shaan and NDS & Blue to play for them, who in turn happily oblige. It’s poignant and yet encapsulates the power of music.

Now onto the actual song, because that’s what we’re here for. It’s melodic and progressive and drops it in all the right places. While the transitions need a little bit of smoothening out, the the rest of the track flows beautifully, and with the backdrop of the haunting video, creates an emotional atmosphere like no other.

‘Bharat’ stays true to its name and doesn’t engage in flamboyance and cliche song themes. Two thumbs up for the boys behind this collaboration!
