The first installment of the five-part Afrojack documentary March of the Afrojack has been released, and it provides rare insight into the Dutch artist’s rise to dance music superstardom. It chronicles Nick van de Wall’s life before playing international festivals and includes commentary from friends and colleagues Tiësto, Steve Aoki and David Guetta.
In “Part I (Introduction and Growing Up),” Afrojack’s mom takes viewers through his hometown in Holland and details the humble beginnings of the electronic music influencer.
“I made this video to give back to the fans and people who’ve supported me, I want my fans to see that I came from nothing and inspire them to follow their dreams,” Afrojack says. “If it can happen to me it can happen to them too, it’s all about working hard and never giving up. I want them to know what really goes into this lifestyle and let them see first-hand what it’s about.”
