Nicky Romero releases new sidechain plug-in called “Kickstart”

Sidechain compression is one such thing that no top-notch dance music producer can do without. Kickstart is the fastest way to get that signature sidechain effect in your own tracks. Nicky Romero collaborates with plug-in developers Cableguys for this brand new plug-in, which is already being apparently used by David Guetta, Alesso, Afrojack, Knife Party, Vicetone and more. Forget complicated compressor routings, simply drop Kickstart on your channels—a big dry/wet mix control and hand-crafted modulation curves will get you started.

You can use Kickstart in any VST or AU sequencer such as Ableton Live, Logic, Cubase, Fruity Loops, etc. Available for both Mac and PC, you can download a demo copy and then buy it for $15 here.
