At the age of 17, Dutch wonderboy, Martin Garrix became the youngest artist to hold consecutive weeks at #1 on Beatport, and as would be expected he has now found himself achieving another milestone as in less than three months his record ‘Animals’ has reached ‘Gold Status’ in Belgium!

Spinnin’ Records presented Martin with the award, recognizing the single sales in excess of 15,000 throughout the country. This is likely the beginning of awards for ‘Animals’, as the the track was played globally at festivals and clubs throughout the summer, and supported by many notable artists.
