Kanye West’s New Album to feature Daft Punk, Skrillex and Odd Future.

Hip-hop and electronica can never stay out of each others faces. Sometimes in a bad way (Read: Will.i.am vs Arty/Mat zo fiasco) and sometimes in a good way as with Kanye West‘s New Album.

All it took to send the music world into a twitter frenzy, were 2 words tweeted by him, not too long ago. “June Eighteenth” was what he had tweeted, indicating the release date for his newest album,  which will arrive less than a month before he’s due to become a father. West has been living in Paris since at least January, recording in secret at the hotel Le Meurice and local studios.

The track list for the album hasn’t been finalised yet. However, he’s got an all star crew collaborating with him for his new album. Ranging from electronic godfathers, Daft Punk, to dubstep’s Dux Ducis, Skrillex and even the underage Chicago MC, Chief Keef to memebers of group Odd Future. “It was very raw,” Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter says of one recent session with West. “He was rapping – kind of screaming primally.”

Sources familiar with the project say it’s even darker and more twisted than 2010′s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

Guess we’d have to wait and see the outcome of Kanye’s newest project. Stay tuned to Bangin Beats for more.
