Pasquale Rotella is not known to many as the most influential person in EDM for no reason. Today his company Insomniac Events announced that it would be taking Electric Daisy Carnival across the Atlantic to London. Insomniac Events has partnered with Cream, England’s biggest event producers to organize EDC London which will take place July 20 at the iconic Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park made famous by the Summer Olympics last year. This partnership venture was announced on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 show earlier today and came as a good surprise to all Insomniac fans in the UK.
“Bringing Insomniac’s Electric Daisy Carnival experience across the Atlantic to London has been my dream for years and I couldn’t ask for a better partner than Cream, who is a world-wide fixture in electronic dance music culture,” Pasquale Rotella said.“Early UK dance culture was one of my inspirations to create Insomniac when I was a teenager.”, Rotella mentioned in his Instagram post while announcing the event.
Early bird tickets for EDC London will go on sale on the 9th of April 2013 at 1 pm (EST).
