Former name, Geroge F. Zimmer stands behind the spotlight of EDM this time and welcomes his new founded alias GFZ.  EP “Amazonia” was his first release, and keeps a firm balance on deep house and progressive house elements in equilibrium. Although I must warn you it is a huge tease to only listen to the EP for a few minutes .

GFZ experiments around with harmoniously implements discordant mechanical leads, melodic tunes,synths that leave your senses vibrating and diverse beat work to color a canvas that fosters an enhanced listener experience with simultaneous satisfaction and genuine producer appreciation.

The EP appears to be focused on South America’s most fascinating destinations.

Venezuela, begins with calm synths that lead upto deep stabs rolling throughout the track and native bells that works itself towards breathy flutes.

Amazonia follows the same path as Venezuela. After listening to the preview, one cannot make any notable distinctions between Venezuela and Amazonia as it follows the same musical path. It follows through with the dark organic forest environment theme and filtered chord stabs makes it feel like a journey into the thick forests of South America.

Ocean Waves, is a perfect way to end the EP.The cool and calm synths makes one picture ripples and waves and their continuous flow towards you, eventually break into foam, creep up to your feet, and slide back. The arpeggio melodies sounds like water surging and retreating gives out the feel of cool winds and waves following.Finally, the song drops in an organic beat section supported by house stabs.This entire EP is a journey or an experience , and the musical effects collectively . It is proper progressive house,  the way it was intended to be.
