Ultra Music Festival‘s annual pilgrimage to Croatia every summer for Ultra Europe sees some of the biggest and finest DJs around the world come together for 3 days for an unforgettable experience. Held in Split, Croatia, the newcomer has proved itself as one of the top electronic music festivals in record time.

As the 2016 edition came to a close this past weekend, the three day festivities was reduced to a two-day affair due to bad weather which saw the cancellation of Day 1. Despite so, performances by deadmau5, Carl Cox, NERO, Martin Garrix and more made up for it in spectacular fashion. But one notable performance which stood out amongst the lot was by Hardwell, and that too for a hilarious reason.

With the brand new gaming app Pokemon Go having already taken over the masses and issuing its authority on pop culture in 2016, the Dutch titan showed his love for the trend in his own special way as he closed down his highly remarkable set with the theme song of the veteran franchise. A one of a kind affair indeed, check out the performance below!
