iHeart Radio Music Awards Introduces "Dance Music Artist Of The Year" Category

Dance music has made huge strides in recent times having struck a chord with the global audience. As it continues on the path of becoming mainstream, yet another association have realized the significance of the genre and the need to honor the artists responsible.

The iHeart Radio Awards which was founded in 2014 by the American radio giant has now included a new category namely, “Dance Music Artist Of The Year” which will go on to join the company of “Dance Song Of The Year”. The artists getting a nomination nod for the debut award are Zedd, Major Lazer, Skrillex & Diplo, David Guetta and Calvin Harris who truly represent dance music at the commercial level and amongst the masses.

For the Dance Song Of The Year, there are some clear hits making the cut with songs like “Lean On”, “You Know You Like It”, “Waves” and more.  Moving on to an even bigger category, Jack Ü and Justin Bieber will be going up against the likes of Taylor Swift, Mark Ronson, Bruno Mars and more for Best Collaboration.
