After playing twice in 2013 – during Armin van Buuren’s historic ASOT600 in Mumbai this March and Submerge’s three-city wide Access All Areas event last October – the duo have amassed quite a fan following amongst Indian trance fans. With a distinctive, uplifting brand that samples various Egyptian sounds, the duo has set themselves apart from other trance producers. With the release of their two studio albums, Rising Sun (2010) and Quiet Storm (2013), the producer/DJ duo have managed to carve a niche for themselves in the trance community, especially endearing themselves to fans of the harder side of trance.

Collaborating with producers and vocalists like Arctic Moon, John O’Callaghan, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Bjorn Akesson, Solarstone, Susana, and Jwaydan amongst others, the duo have garnered massive support from Armin van Buuren on his iconic ASOT radio show, having been featured on numerous episodes and yearly compilations, as well as touring with Armin and other DJs for the various ASOT events around the world. They have remixed the work of an endless list of producers like Ferry Corsten, Gareth Emery, Max Graham, and Roger Shah.

While the duo produce together in the studio, only Fadi tours after Aly suffered an injury to his ear, which restricts him from exposing himself to loud music.

They host a weekly radio show called Future Sounds of Egypt, which shares its name with their record label. Celebrating every 50 episodes, they will be celebrating their 350th episode with shows in New York, Colombia, Egypt and El Salvador having been announced. The radio show has a loyal fan base, who tune into the show every week on Tuesday (1:30 am IST). The duo focus on promoting uplifting and euphoric trance through their radio show and record label, which has signed producers like Arctic Moon, Bjorn Akesson, Neptune Project, and Tonny Nesse.

So if you’re a trance fan, this is one gig you should not be missing out on. Hosted by Submerge, the tour is in the celebration of the 3rd year anniversary of Pune’s club Miami and the opening of brand new club, A State of Music in Delhi.
