Armin Van Buuren feat. Miri Ben-Ari – Intense (Andrew Rayel Remix)

Armin Van Buuren Feat. Miri Ben-Ari - Intense (Andrew Rayel Remix)

Made a perfect space for himself and often called as the Future Armin, Andrew Rayel proved that he has got enough talent to please his audience. Recently received #28 on this year’s DJ Mag poll, Andrew stood the highest jumper of this year with 49 places up. Heavily supported by Armin, one could never expect his absence from the remix duties for his new album.

There are some tracks that should not be touched at all and we had the same belief for Intense before listening to Andrew’s version of it. Given his signature sound to it, Andrew managed to keep the real essence of Intense intact. Modified with some effortful piano riffs and punchy beats Andrew has reworked the whole track to reach a whole new level.

Intended to be a part of Armin’s remix album of Intense i.e. More Intense, the track has no release date yet but you can enjoy the preview till then.

Armin van Buuren – Intense feat. Miri Ben-Ari (Dannic Remix) [Preview]

Armin van Buuren - Intense feat. Miri Ben-Ari (Dannic Remix) [Preview]

Dannic is a DJ, producer and mash-up genius from Breda in the Netherlands – the hometown of Armin van Buuren, Tiesto and many more, has made a rock solid impact on the dance music  scene.  His recent India tour with Hardwell was one remarkable one and we’ll never forget at that. Listening to whatever he turns his hands on, one can surely say he’s his trademark and typical excellence in it.

Already having made its debut on Hardwell’s ‘I Am Hardwell’ radio show, Dannic’s new remix of ‘Armin Van Buuren’s ‘Intense’ is surely bound to be a super hit.

It’s much more big room, echoing sound with heavy synths that complete this tune with a much more progressive house feel that we believe is Dannic’s trademark sound.

No release date has been announced yet, so you can enjoy the preview till then.

Gig Review: Submerge Mad Stupid Halloween Party with Nikhil Chinappa & Felix Cartal

Halloween is that time of year where everyone get’s an excuse to dress up as their favourite ghoul, goblin, villain, fantasy or hero. It gives everyone a reason to bring out their inner child, or inner monster. Adding to the festive cheer leading dance music event organizer Submerge brought us their Mad Stupid Halloween Party this year at Blue Frog, Mumbai. What’s more they even added the joy of raving to one of house music’s most elite producers, Felix Cartal.

So we got down to it. Got down to dressing up the best we could for a night of delectable music and costumed backed frolic. We entered the Frog and were amazed how the venue was converted to dark, dingy cave with perfect Halloween decor. There was a huge spider web above the console, scare-crows and skeletons scattered around the place, and decapitated body parts hanging from the ceiling.  To add to that we were welcomed by none other than seasoned DJ and Submerge boss, Nikhil Chinappa, taking control of the dance floor.
