The adventure of discovering new music is always exciting and fruitful. Simian Mobile Disco is a name which most of us wouldn’t have heard of. Nevertheless they are one of the most lively acts which are worthy of worship. Originally from UK the duo has earned a mighty reputation with their new age beats and for building bridges between techno and house. The establishment of the benchmark label Delicasies allowed SMD(Simian Mobile Disco) to showcase their production skills, and launch this release in collaboration with Bicep.

The Sacrifice EP surfaced online in mid-May and will be available as part of a four-track E.P. release. The track is hypnotic engaging and a little over the top. The partnership with bicep has given fantastic muscles to the track (all pun intended). The tune rises to be winding and enlarges to a drone band then a heavy bass is dropped even before u realise it.The  EP includes two versions of the track one which is opulent and regal and makes you feel uplifted in spite of having no beats whereas the other one is the tricky one which makes you feel as though you are in the middle of a beach party.

All in all, this is a fine and enjoyable listen which promises good things to come from the Delicasies label and the SMD / Bicep partnership in particular.
