Three Avicii tracks into a monologued script!

Creativity knows no bounds, and that’s exactly what Lena Dunham and Spike Jonze have proved yet again! To break it down for you all, they’ve combined three Avicii tracks, i.e, Hey Brother, Wake Me Up and You Make Me, into one large music video! Wait for it, there’s a story unravelling too! It summarizes a story about a depressed dude up in the rave and what happens when a raver (who’s existence we’re unsure of) goes to bat for him. An immensely unique video, big ups to their genuine imagination that’s run absolutely wild! With a fake Avicii providing voice over commentary, this should be something you ought to be sharing with everyone person you can think of!

Avicii – Wake Me Up (Afrojack Remix)

Avicii – Wake Me Up (Afrojack Remix)

With Afrojack coming under the flak for straying a tad too far into mainstream pop culture, it’s no surprise the big Dutch producer always does what he wants, regardless of what the press say. Wanting his share of one of the chartbusters of 2013, he’s gone ahead and remixed Avicii’s Wake Me Up, a track criticized by many, yet praised for its innovation and creativity. Afrojack doesn’t tamper much, employing a simple 4×4 beat, and letting it ride all the way upto the quintessential progressive drop. A very common big room feel, this is far from Afrojack’s best works. It’s probably something he created just to share the spoils. Check it out for yourself below!

Avicii – You Make Me (Radio Edit)

Avicii - You Make Me (Radio Edit)

Swedish powerhouse producer Avicii who’s been in the limelight for his rather controversial taste of his latest music, has dropped the radio edit to his brand new club banger of a tune called You Make Me. Featuring the infectious vocals of Salem Al Faki (remember Silhouettes, anyone?) this tune is not your normal EDM. Following up from his unforeseen country-like dance number Wake Me Up, this track becomes the second single from his upcoming album True. Leaning towards slight indie like alternative tunes, the beat is deftly woven within the track, and it doesn’t pulsate like most other tracks. Instead, they’re built-in, and they enhance the track more than anything else. A worldwide radio hit, we’re impressed with Avicii’s different path of making music. Sometimes, it’s all about that uniqueness. True drops Sept 17th, till then check this one out below!
