Skrillex & The Doors – Breakn’ A Sweat (Official Video)

Wether you like Dubstep or not, there is no denying the amazing heights Skrillex has been scaling! Earlier in the year he got to collaborate with one of the biggest and best known bands of all time, The Doors, and in a genre of music that is not that well known and fairly new he has definitely gone beyond expectations, and it sure looks like this is only the beginning with most recently him being ranked 10 on the controversial yet popular DJ Mag rankings.

Now, Sonny is back with a video to “Breakin’ a Sweat,” his famous collaboration with The Doors, as I mentioned, that was released earlier this year. The video starts out with two creepy mutant like creatures jetski-ing around in water, being chased by robotic sharks. Bizarreness continues steadily and after feasting on some floating eggs, the mutants are transported to the real world with the woman impregnated. After stealing a car and fleeing, the woman finds her self giving birth.

There’s also a Jim Morrison sample, which goes: “I can envision one person with a lot of machines – tapes, electronic set ups – singing and speaking, and using a lot of machines.”

‘Breakin’ A Sweat’ is huge, featuring Skrillex’s trademark monster riffs and The Doors’ trippy melodies.

The official video comes after the video below, which was basically footage of Skrillex and the Doors in the studio producing the track as well as footage of Skrillex live.

In this previous video, Skrillex talks about how most of his production is done in Hotel rooms since he doesn’t have time to really go to a studio. Featuring the surviving members of the iconic rock band The Doors, the video was a collaboration done for Hyundai’s Re:Generation documentary.
