Singularity – Rift EP
The very best of vocals and basslines is what ‘Rift’ the new EP by Singularity comprises of. Released under Play Me Records on 28th October 2013, the four track Extended Play comprises of pure bass bliss.
The EP namesake title track “Rift”, is a painful rendition of some major abyss that has erupted between some drum beats and the vocals of Jenn Lucas, in other words, the track is a slow and long lounge worthy track. This is the single most powerful track in the EP which nails the painful departure of two lovers from a relationship.
Complete annihilation is what seems to be the outcome of whoever listens to this EP as it completely burns you to the ground and abolishes all senses except auditory ones.
Featuring three different vocal performances (including his own) alongside special guest pianist Evan Duffy, the Rift EP is an emotional roller coaster of the soothing melodies, rippling drum design, and progressive synthesis that embody the signature Singularity sound.
