This track has been a monster of a hit at so many festivals all throughout this year. The team of David Guetta and Nicky Romero has done an excellent job of combining both of their strengths when it comes to “Metropolis”. On one hand you have Nicky’s heavy drum beats that have made him famous and then you also get David’s typical melodic tune blended into it.

This video has been directed by Los Angeles-based filmmaker and critically acclaimed pop artist Mr.Brainwash. Made possible by burn, the video is a creative collision of art and music. The video is inspired by David Guetta’s passion for street art and this has been realized by the craziness of Mr. Brainwash. Mr. Brainwash created a montage of images made up fragments of vinyl and guitars before David seen playing an explosive gig to a crowd of revelers.

He fittingly sums up the video by saying that his “creative inspiration for the video was to take old objects like records and TVs, which have been used to play music in the past, and make them beautiful again by turning them into pieces of art”

“Metropolis” is released on David’s electronic label JackBack Records and is also included on the album Nothing But The Beat 2.0.
