Michael Calfan & Gregori Klosman – GIG [Preview]

An unexpected collaboration, but mixing the unpredictable gave birth to something worthy. Michael Calfan, the french producer known for delivering beautifully engineered melodies, either in the form of stringed instruments or something more electronic, has teamed up with Gregori Klosman, known for his power-driven bass drops, to brew something that would seem interesting in theory. Does it deliver? Yes.

It’s simple. It’s something you look for in a song. A good formula as we must say. The intro and the build up is all Michael Calfan, introducing melodies that will take you in an escalating musical peregrination, upto the point where Gregori Klosman puts in his work, and adds a drop that is pure driving bass. This is essentially what a progressive house track should contain.

No official release date has been decided, but the track is to be out on Steve Angello’s record Label, Size Records. Check out Chuckie dropping this song at Ultra, below!

Michael Calfan vs John Dahlback feat Andy P. – Let Your Mind Go

J

The upcoming massive release on Spinnin’ Records gives us some visual treatment.

Let Your Mind Go” by underrated, rising stars Michael Calfan with Swedish globe-trotter John Dahlback is a perfect collab that goes hand in hand –  Where Dahlback is back on the accustomed pure Progressive stance, as his bubbly build-up fits perfectly with the Calfan inspired baseline melodic drop.

The official music video shows club shots with overlays of Andy P. singing and an incredible energy meandering through the crowd . All in all,  a usual scenario of how people move to Calfan’s enthralling sets .While the video might be a little too predictable ,  the track is everything .

This track will be officially released on the Feb 11th, until then enjoy the official music video that will be sure to swing you into the party trip   :

Michael Calfan – Mozaik (Hook N Sling Remix)

After driving the EDM scene wild with his collaboration on “Reason” with Nervo, the Australian remixes one of Michael Calfans releases from back in April. The remix features mostly the same synths and isn’t really a huge enhancement of the original. Hook N Sling adds some heavy bass after the initial drop to bring an effect that we can rage to more easily.  Released on Beatport and Stealth Records on September 10th, 2012, we see it being a hit purely because of the thumping bass that makes you put your fist in the air.
