In the year 2013, Sound Avtar was voted Best Drum & Bass/Dubstep Dj/Producer by the MYFAV Awards. He uses cutting edge music production techniques, creativity and innovation and concocts tunes so monstrous which can’t go unnoticed by the people in his home country India and around the globe.
The talented producer/DJ now presents his ‘Under the Light’ EP on the Rub-A-Duck imprint. On the EP you’ll find various spectra of drum & bass music. The EP starts of with ‘Under the Light’; a nice and easy drum & bass track with a dreamy melody and surreal feel to it, whereas ‘Turbulent Flow’ is a real neuro drum & bass banger. With elements of future garage, ’5 AM’ is the closing track.

Joshi – Raging Blue (Original Mix)
Hailing from the sand and surf of Goa, India, 22-year-old producer Joshi has carved out a unique niche for himself in the melodic genre, creatively working across different styles of music, ranging from deep pop to progressive trance and house. Joshi works his magic with his new deep house release, ‘Raging Blue’ on the Wildlife imprint. Packed with an addictive guitar lick and smooth vocals, this track is definitely one for the groove. Betsie Larkin & Solarstone – Breathe You In [EP]
The release of Betsie‘s debut album “All We Have Is Now” turned out to be a big milestone in her career and her collaborations with several poplar musicians, 2013 already turned out to be one of her busiest years so far. Betsie, one of the shining vocal stars of EDM collaborated with trance maestro Rich Solarstone and the wonderful ‘Breathe You In’ is what we got. Solarstone never leaves any stone unturned to give purity to his sounds that distinguishes him from other artists in the trance world. And with the sensuous and melancholic vocals of Betsie, he has a surprise in store for his fans. Carrying over with his legendary Pure Mix sequence for this track also, he gave a break to the hard trance uplifting master Sneijder to remix ‘Breathe You In’. As the scrumptious remixes hit the digital stores, we bring you a brief sketch of how they sound like.
In the Pure Mix, Solarstone delivers his pure trance sound and without any doubt we can say it is absolutely magical. The flawless composition which floats with his enthusiastic basslines makes it a high quality trance production. His ability to brush anything he touches with his sound is noted by many music critics and that is what takes his sound to a higher level. Betsie’s velvety and passionate voice make this as sweet as sugar.
The Sneijder Remix is fine, elegantly made and tempered by lively, up-tempo beats. Highly energetic with strong basslines, euphoric synths and blissful melodies, Larkin’s vocals bear an insidious nostalgia that inflects along the edges of the track. With a typical Trance brush to it, it’s a track that all trance fanatics will adore and will leave everyone gasping without suspicion.
