Armin van Buuren reveals details about his upcoming compilation, ‘Universal Religion Chapter 7′.

Keeping up the tradition which began in 2003, Armin van Buuren has chalked out the songs worthy of being included in his upcoming Universal Religion compilation.

Comprising two CD’s and 34 tracks, this year’s edition transports you to the center of the dance world, where the mix was recorded in a single take on the White Isle. Recorded live from the A State of Trance night at Privilege Ibiza comes Universal Religion Chapter 7, with tunes from the globe’s biggest names and palpable energy from the genre’s biggest fans.

With exclusive mixes and mash-ups from Armin himself as well as fresh material from Andrew Rayel, Omnia, Alex M.O.R.P.H, Ørjan Nilsen and more, the mix is due out on September 13th!

USA based producer Eco has always been at the top rankings of trance because of his remarkable compositions. Eco just doesn’t do normal and the release of his previous EP including ‘Walkabout’ did much more. One of his recent incomparable productions is ‘A Cry Out To The Moon’ that was featured on Armin’s Universal Religion Chapter 7.

Driving, brisk and wonderful with a nice blow to it, ‘A Cry To The Moon’ has influential beats with epic style ethnic female voices to calm your senses.  All of this come together to lead us nicely through a slowly building melody to a let-your-hands-go-in-the-air climax.

The marvelous tune doesn’t come alone and to add to it,  Eco brings us ‘Alonism’. With pumping beats, high energy basslines and haunting female vocals, it will certainly take your state of mind to another level without second thoughts!

It is safe to say that Ilan Bluestone is one of the fastest rising trance producer’s in the world today.  We recently caught up with him (you can read up on that here), And he definitely has the drive, determination and attitude to propel him to great heights.

His latest offering to the dance music world is wonderful uplifting and melodic progressive trance piece, a rework of Ce3sar’s Lakota which also found its way to Armin Van Buuren’s Universal Religion Chapter 7.

This prog-trance gem is akin to his wonderful work on Sinai, employing the same tribal vocal feel, except this time it’s of a Native American nature. The bassline is energetic, the dream-like synths are euphoric and the piano work is, as always, serene. Just like Ilan Bluestone to not disappoint us.

Since the time we first heard this track on Armin’s Universal Religion Chapter 7 compilation, we went straight to a state of awesomeness. The man behind the epic ‘Prime Mover’ album hits us back again with pure enchantment. Started as the Tune of the Week on ASOT radio show, Alex M.O.R.P.H. gives us ’Dreams’, a strong contender for the Track of the Year.

Featuring the lush vocals of Natalie Gioia, Alex builds a substantial progressive trancer with groovy beats and electro influenced basslines. The breakdown reveals a hair raising opera fashion female voice followed by an absolutely stunning climax. Very emotional, touching and uplifting as well, this is one of our favorites at the moment.

Released on Captivating Sounds, this track by Ralphie B already left its mark on Armin van Buuren’s Universal Religion Chapter 7 compilation and had rocked the A State of Trance show as well. Our dearly loved and much talented Ralphie B is back in full effect and with Ragnarok and continues to spread his trademark sound.

A complicated balance of pure synthy melody, energetic basslines and the whole composition of this track is just pure trance. Standing ideally for a mysterious title, it is totally an apt track to introduce someone to trance music.

Polish producers are on peak withtheir production capabilities and one of them is Arisen Flame, who has made his long-awaited first appearance on the ASOT imprint of Armada Music. A featured work of art in the Universal Religion Chapter 7, ‘Gladius’ held its stand since Armin declared it as a Tune of The Week on his radio show.

It’s no marvel that ‘Gladius’ now made it to the latest chapter of Universal Religion as Arisen’s tracks have always been a greeting addition to the A State of Trance show.

A fusion of old school and new age trance, it fits perfectly in the Universal Religion compilation. The build is ideal and exhilarating leading to a danceable hands-in-the-air climax. Without repeating the classics, it will give you an old feeling of trance music in preceding years.

Another great production included in the box is ‘Unity’ which is the uplifting b-side of this must-have pack.  An anthem for all peak-time moments, it is a great composition by Arisen that you may not like as much as the first one, but will surely make its space in the trance scene somehow.
