Ivan Gough, Walden & Jebu feat. Penelope Austin – Home (Original Mix) [Preview]

Ivan Gough, Walden & Jebu feat Penelope Austin-Home

One of Australia’s home grown electronic dance music talent, Ivan Gough most famous for his track ‘In My Mind‘ with Axwell has just previewed “Home” in collaboration with a multitude of artists from Walden, jebu and finally the vocals of Penelope Austin. The song is slated for release on 9th  December on Big Beat Records.

The audio delight begins with engaging vocals of Penelope Austin which are deep and prolonged. To build the energy simple piano chords are introduced right from the beginning and then an almost theatre like feeling rains down upon the track. “Home” is a beautifully composed with the usual progressive chords introduced at a much later stage in the track, highlighting Ivan Gough’s exceptional skills to bring together new collaborations.

The other two artists Jebu & Walden are prodigies from the Australian Dance Music scene who have shown the knack for playing the crowd onto their finger tunes. Walden’s previous track- ‘First Day‘ has been mixed by the Anjunabeats wonder boy Maor Levi himself.

We at The Bangin Beats especially love the smooth transition from stadium like vocals to dance floor cracking beats.

Check out the preview here and wait for it to drop on Big Beat Records.

Nervo ft. Ivan Gough & Beverley Knight – Not Taking This No More (Original Mix)

The Nervo sisters and Australian DJ/Producer, Ivan Gough have teamed up to bring us a new original mix, “Not Taking This No More”. Straying away from the status quo with their original mixes, Mim and Liv do not provide the vocals for this tune, but rather yield the responsibility to Beverly Knight. Beverly provides a soul-filled, funk-fueled vocal line that is also a step away from the type of vibe we are used to finding in a Nervo production.

The drops is bass laden affair that features a staccato electric guitar-esq pluck. The melody is simple & aggressive and it seems as if the track is sure to add plenty of energy and even more uniqueness into NERVO’s live sets, especially considering the wide array of genres the sisters are already diving into (everything from deep house to trap).

The track is out now on Spinnin’ Records. Get it now on Beatport!

And almost each and every one of these artists, have certified how zealous Indian fans and their intense passion lends an infectious energy to them which marks an important phase in their Tour calendars. So, when the world renowned Spaceman acknowledges a packed arena of some 10,000 of his loyal devotees with words of praise, you are assured that we have cemented our spot on the Dance Music Map as one of the World’s favorite audiences.

26-year old Robbert van de Corput, or as we all prefer to call him-Hardwell, bought his ambitious concept ‘I am Hardwell’ world tour to Indian shores (Remember how we bought this exclusive news to you back in July!). Partnering with the Sunburn Arena, the Dutch artist presented everything he stands for in a long, extensive three-hour DJ performance. Playing with his good friend and a powerhouse performer in his own right Dannic, Hardwell ensured euphoria as the night was soaked with heavy basslines, beautiful visuals, ceremonious jumping and a slight hint of rain as well! The ‘I am Hardwell’ concept that made its debut in Amsterdam in April 2013, is a result of Hardwell’s own vision and together with his signature musical productions, remixes and mashups, this has led to a brand new dance event.
