Announced by the iconic outfit earlier today, the ‘With Or Without You‘ hitmakers will be taking the stage at DY Patil Stadium for their final show of the year as part of U2’s upcoming Asia-Pacific run of ‘The Joshua Tree‘ world tour. The Joshua Tree Tour 2019 kicks off in Auckland on 8 November and will visit Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Perth, before moving on to Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul, Manila, and finishing up in Mumbai. “We have been around the world with The Joshua Tree,” says The Edge. “And we can’t think of a better place to celebrate the end of this tour. Mumbai, India, we’re coming for you, I hope you’re ready!”. The Mumbai-leg of their iconic tour will be produced by Live Nation Touring and is being brought to the country by BookMyShow who have previously also hosted Ed Sheeran besides hosting various large scale live entertainment events. Adding to the excitement was Bono’s statement which read: “Mumbai. Lets rock the house…” With tickets set to go on sale on BookMyShow and Live Nation on October 1 at 12 PM IST, check out the announcement below.
