Dengue Dengue Dengue Are Heading To India For A 3-City Tour This September

Dengue Dengue Dengue India Tour

Mumbai-based agency Third Culture introduced the country to their exciting pan Indian club night known as Bodega earlier this year that focuses on micro-genres from across the world. Having hosted the likes of Schlachthofbronx and Branko as part of their first two editions, they are now all set to bring down famed Peruvian duo Dengue Dengue Dengue as part of a three-city India Tour this September.

Known for creating thrilling fusions of traditional rhythms and modern electronics, 1/2 of the duo, Rafael Pereira will be coming down to India to present their incredibly unique live A/V set. With their records perfectly capturing the spirit of the party with a pitch-perfect synthesis of tribal percussions, Latin folk instrumentation, and synth bass, Dengue Dengue Dengue’s penchant for playing behind neon coloured tribal masks has allowed them to gather a dedicated fanbase, which also makes the crowd feel like they’re participating in a psychedelic ritual presided over by a shaman.

Since 2014 they have been exploring the link between tribal beats and digital bytes with a series of releases on labels including Buraka Som Sistema’s Enchufada and UK label On the Corner. With their brand new album ‘Zenit & Nadir‘ set to be released on October 4th, Dengue Dengue Dengue will be taking over New Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru on September 6th, 7th, and 8th respectively to deliver a truly immersive experience.
