The Indian summer might not be for the faint hearted, but we can all gather around to treat ourselves to the summertime goodness on offer courtesy New Delhi’s very own wordsmith, Prabh Deep. Having already gone on to deliver two breezy jams in recent weeks with ‘Maya‘ and ‘Kala‘, the Azadi Records signee has reunited with frequent collaborator Hashbass for their brand new release, ‘Amar‘.
Boasting of an impressive discography which has propelled him towards the upper echelon of the Indian hip-hop landscape, Prabh Deep is now effortlessly crafting smooth genre hybrids which seems to shine a light on his moody eclecticism. And while the sound of ‘Amar‘ might sound brilliantly simple, the collaborative genius of the two acts at play just can’t be overlooked. Topped off by his signature raps through which he comfortably balances out the proceedings, Hashbass sprinkles his magic in every nook and corner as the two demonstrate a new breed of modern hip-hop.
