Music fans in India can finally rejoice as music streaming giant Spotify has officially arrived in India and finds home within Apple’s App Store, the Google Play Store and even the Windows Store for fans to make the most of. With multiple rumours and reports that have surfaced over the past twelve months regarding the Swedish platform’s imminent launch in the country, Spotify made things officially in the evening earlier today as it begun to crop up in many devices’ app stores.
With the prices for Spotify Premium having already been revealed, fans can purchase the Rs. 119 per month plan, apart from having the option to choose from one day, seven days, and one, three and six months plans of Spotify for Rs. 13, Rs. 39, Rs. 129, Rs. 389, and Rs. 719, respectively. Moreover, users can also purchase the year long membership for Rs. 1,189. With various payment methods being offered for the Indian users, it will be interesting to see how Spotify fares within India’s super competitive music streaming market.
