Launched in April 2017 as an online, community radio from India cater to the growing demand for non-mainstream music, boxout.fm has made some major moves over the past two years to formulate the growth of a community passionate about new sounds and new voices. It is part of a global community of independently-run online radio stations that have amassed fans for their unwavering commitment to showcasing quality, independent music.
Boxout.fm now broadcasts 24-hours-a-day from New Delhi with over 60 shows presented by contributors spread across the country and the globe. From hidden Bollywood gems, to laid back jazz selections, to cutting-edge electronic dance music, there’s something for every listener tuning in to boxout.fm.
And to celebrate completing two years of operations, boxout.fm has announced dates for its second ever Boxout Weekender, which is set to take place from April 5-7 in New Delhi. The three-day celebration will simultaneously be held at two venues, Auro Kitchen & Bar and Summer House Cafe – two venues located within the same complex, making it easy for attendees to check out the different acts programmed.
