HomeMusicBassPREMIERE: UZ – Futon (Baajewala Remix) Rajrishi Murthi January 17, 2019 Bass, New Release, Remix, Trap It’s a big day for the homegrown bass music community, and rightfully so, it’s not often that you get to see the names of a future bass music star and unarguably one of the greatest trap music artists in the same title. So let’s jump right into this, as we bring to you the exclusive premiere of Indian producer Baajewala‘s brand new remix of UZ‘s ‘Futon‘. Originally released by UZ as part of his ‘Rebirth‘ album earlier last year, the wonky tune has now been provided with an exceptional treatment by the man himself as Baajewala puts his own flavourful spin on one of the album’s most well received cuts. A lethal rework which packs in some serious punch, Yash Bhawsar leads the charge with a grittier take on the track’s original melody as he offers a cinematic, yet hard hitting production work to make up for an immersive listen. Accompanied by stuttering basslines and a futuristic and bone rattling drop, Baajewala’s latest effort certainly sounds like one of his best till date. Talking about the remix, he said in a statement: “When I started working on the remix for Futon, the first thing that inspired me was how the melody had the feel of angst and being trapped. Those emotions were the driving force of the track.” Out now via Quality Good Records, listen to Baajewala’s remix of ‘Futon‘ below. You can pre-save your copy here.
