Watch This: Oceantied Takes A More Serene Route With Brand New Single, ‘Let You Go’

Oceantied Let You Go

Bengaluru-based beatmaker Oceantied has steadily charted his way towards the top to be recognised as one of the country’s most exciting electronic music talents in recent times. Lesser known as Ketan Bahirat, the former guitarist of post-rock band Until We Last has consistently churned out some memorable releases till date that have only gone on to solidify his presence on the dancefloor. And now after a rather quiet 2018, the footwork/bass music specialist is kicking off the new year with a completely different kind of project on offer.

Titled ‘Let You Go‘, the house & garage-inspired tune marks a shift in Oceantied’s creative process that has seen him create several club heaters in the recent past. Led by a nostalgic four-to-the-floor beat which acts as the backbone of this stellar tune, Ketan chooses to craft a different kind of spell with his latest work. Accompanied by an equally catchy vocal sample which seems to work heavily in his favour, the track’s beauty lies in its utter simplicity that goes on to hold on to the listeners’ attention till the very end. With an impressive music video which accompanies the release, the Bosco Bhandarkar-directed visuals add to the air of mystery which surrounds Oceantied’s unconventional, yet fascinating record.
