The four-piece outfit hailing from Las Vegas has not only gone to become one of today’s biggest acts in music, but they’ve also managed to redefine how the genre can sound like in the 21st century. With multiple platinum singles and albums under their belt, Imagine Dragons’ signature brand of arena-ready productions have propelled them into super stardom. And having already crafted some of this past decade’s biggest hits including ‘Radioactive‘, ‘Thunder‘ amongst several others, come November 2018, Imagine Dragons will finally drop the veil off their fourth studio album, ‘Origins‘. So without further ado, please welcome our Artist of the Month for November 2018, Imagine Dragons. Led by the band’s only remaining founding member Dan Reynolds, Imagine Dragons is currently a four piece outfit which also consists of Wayne Sermon, Ben McKee and Daniel Platzman. Initially founded in Provo, Utah back in 2008, they released their first EP ‘Speak To Me‘, which was followed by a self-titled EP and the 2010-released ‘Hell and Silence‘. What came next was their breakout EP ‘It’s Time‘ which was largely responsible for the humongous success which followed soon after. Later in 2011, Imagine Dragons finally bagged a record deal with Interscope Records, and come 2012, listeners around the globe were treated to their chart topping debut album ‘Night Visions‘ that spawned some of the biggest hits of their career including ‘Radioactive‘ and ‘Demons‘. Boasting of an anthemic take on pop, electronic and indie-influenced rock, the record breaking LP also led them to win two Grammy Awards alongside receiving several other accolades. Throughout 2013, Imagine Dragons went on to tour across North America and Europe as part of their Night Visions Tour. Following their phenomenal debut stint, rock’s new fan favourites took it up a notch for their next chapter as Imagine Dragons readied their sophomore LP that had gotten fans excited for what’s to come much before its highly anticipated release. After the release of singles like ‘Battle Cry‘ and ‘Warriors‘, came the unveil of their highly successful second full length, ‘Smoke + Mirrors‘. Boasting of cuts like ‘I Bet My Life‘, ‘Gold‘ and ‘Shots‘, the release was accompanied by a massively profitable world tour. Moreover, with four live albums under their belt, Imagine Dragons have also charted out on three globe spanning tours including their ongoing Evolve World Tour which is slated to come to a close later this November. Renowned for their electric and awe-inspiring live performances around the world, the band have also made appearances at some of today’s biggest music festivals including Lollapalooza, Life Is Beautiful, Reading & Leeds amongst several others. After deciding to take time off in 2016 apart from releasing tracks like ‘Sucker For Pain‘ and ‘Levitate‘, Imagine Dragons returned to action in 2017 in scintillating fashion as they unleashed the first single, ‘Believer‘ from their third album ‘Evolve‘ before following it up with another humgonous single, ‘Thunder‘ which went on to become one of the year’s biggest hits. And come June 2017, ‘Evolve‘ was finally released. Over the course of 2018, Imagine Dragons have managed to release a handful of singles including ‘Next To Me‘, ‘Born to Be Yours‘ with Kygo, ‘Natural‘, ‘Zero‘, ‘Machine‘ and ‘Bad Liar‘. And with their highly anticipated fourth album ‘Origins’ set to drop which is intended to be a sister LP to last year’s ‘Evolve’, all eyes are on Imagine Dragons as they get ready to showcase their immense talent.
