DIVINE Releases ‘Kaam 25’, His New Track Written Exclusively For Netflix’s ‘Sacred Games’

The face of the hip-hop movement in India, DIVINE has many firsts to his name. The first Indian artist to be featured on the Beats 1 radio show as well as the first Indian artist to spit bars with Charlie Sloth on BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Fire in the booth, the Mumbai-based rapper now adds another first to his name.

Commissioned to create a special track for Netflix’s first Indian original series, Sacred Games – which stars Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui and is directed by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane, DIVINE has come up with a razor-sharp track , ‘Kaam 25’, that talks about the dark side of Mumbai where politics, crime and passion meet at a crossroads.

Talking about the collaboration with Netflix, DIVINE says:

Kaam 25’ has been one on the best projects to work on as it revolves around Mumbai and from a song-writing point of view, it was quite interesting as well. I’ve been a fan of all the actors involved in the show, and also of the directors, so it was pretty cool to be asked to do something for Sacred Games.
