Supergroups are hard to come by these days, but that hasn’t stopped Diplo coming together with Sia and Labrinth to form a collaborative project ‘LSD‘, based on the three artists’ initials. The trio have now released their first ever single, with a second one set to release soon.
Titled ‘Genius‘, the track features quirky production from Diplo with Sia and Labrinth laying down some impressive vocal work. The video for the single features influences from 60’s animation with a lot of psychedelic imagery. The name for the trio couldn’t have been more apt, huh?
The group will be Diplo’s fourth, after Major Lazer (with Walshy Fire and Jillionaire), Jack Ü (with Skrillex) and Silk City (with Mark Ronson), and it’ll be interesting to see what direction he takes with LSD. Till then, you can stream the debut single here below.
