With multiple electronic music acts that have dived into the world of scoring movies and documentaries in the past, dance music mainstay Zedd has now decided to return to his classical roots for an elusive collaboration with National Geographic. Teaming up with the world renowned platform, the Russian-German producer has created an original composition for their latest documentary ‘One Strange Rock‘. Produced by Darren Aronofsky and Jane Root, and hosted by Will Smith, the feature film will tell the surreal story of our Universe and Earth itself. Talking about his latest project, Zedd wrote in a press release:
“I’ve always been a fan of Darren Aronofsky, and am really excited to partner with National Geographic to create an original composition for the series. I’ve immersed myself in the visual spectrum and am inspired to take on a different approach by experimenting with natural sounds and exploring grand themes that are representative of the world around us.”
