Mumbai-based producer Zokhuma has steadily paved his way towards the top in recent years to be reckoned as one of the most revered names within India’s alternative music scene. Lesser known as Arman Menzies, the former guitarist of Goddess Gagged has mesmerized audiences around the country with his stellar DJ sets. And to kick off 2018 on the right note, the Dasta co-founder has dropped a brand new 2-track EP out of nowhere.
Led by the spellbinding ‘Hearts‘, the dreamy, house-leaning creation oozes perfection, which takes listeners on a heartwarming sonic journey that is highlighted by its meticulous production work. Making way for ‘Fields‘, a bolder and more exciting offering from Arman arrives next. Poised to light up dance floors and headphones alike, the highly enticing piece couples non-traditional sounds with his signature unorthodox approach which certainly hits the mark. Talking about his latest body of work, Zokhuma wrote in the description:
“Hearts + Fields is the result of a little love, a lot of rain, a never-ending forest and a cozy cottage in the south of Sri Lanka.”
