English singer/songwriter Zayn has quickly become a mainstay within the pop music scene in recent years. Being a former member of one of the world’s most popular boy bands, One Direction, the talented artist has impressed listeners around the globe with hits like ‘Pillowtalk‘, ‘Dusk Till Dawn‘ amongst others. And now as reported by Business Recorder, Zayn has finally sung his first Hindi song for a forthcoming Bollywood movie. Talking about his debut Bollywood stint, as part of his cover story for Elle India’s February 2018 edition, he said:
“It is one of the first songs I’ve sung in full Hindi, so it’s going to be cool to see what the response to that is.”
Additionally, as he detailed out his forthcoming sophomore album, he discussed collaborating with legendary Indian composer A.R Rahman and much more: “There’s definitely a lot of Urdu, some nice qawwali sounds. There might even be some bhangra vibes. I have worked with AR Rahman on one song.” As we await further details regarding his forthcoming release, stay tuned for the latest updates.
