With nearly 2 weeks left for TIMEOUT 72‘s debut edition, the buzz for the festival is at an all time high. With a lineup featuring some of the biggest names in music, incredible stages and much more, TIMEOUT 72’s first steps into the music festival space in the country are looking quite ambitious!

As we edge closer to the festival, we’ve listed down 10 acts that you cannot afford to miss out at TIMEOUT 72 this year.

 

1. Jason Derulo

Set to make his India debut with TIMEOUT 72, Jason Derulo will be bringing his energetic performance to Majoris, with some of his most renowned songs. Having already played festivals such as V Festival, Miami Beach Music Festival, Starlite Festival among others, the ‘Swalla’ hitmaker will be making the crowd groove with a power packed performance.

2. Martin Garrix

Not a stranger to India, Dutch powerhouse and world’s #1 DJ, Martin Garrix will be bringing the house down on the final day of the festival, with an arsenal of new sounds and a brand new show that the ‘Pizza’ hitmaker debuted at Coachella earlier this year. One of India’s favourite artists, this is one act you definitely should not miss out on.

3. Wiz Khalifa

Yet another artist to make his India debut, Wiz Khalifa‘s live performances are known for their panache, as the rapper pulls out all stops to put out a show his fans will remember forever. The ‘See You Again’ star has played some of the biggest festivals and most iconic venues around the world, and will be looking to go all out for his debut at TIMEOUT 72.

4. Vini Vici

Psytrance heavyweights Vini Vici have packed a serious punch with their productions over the last couple of years, and their collaboration with Armin van Buuren, ‘Great Spirit’, in 2016 catapulted them into a whole new league. Upcoming collaborations with the likes of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and KSHMR are only going to take the Israeli duo to newer heights, and missing them at TIMEOUT 72 would be a grave mistake!

5. DIVINE

You can’t have a music festival in India without homegrown talent, and TIMEOUT 72 has ensured domestic artists are represented amply on the festival’s lineup. Mumbai based rapper DIVINE will be taking to the Proximus stage to deliver his own brand of rap & hip hop, a sound which has made him one of the freshest artists in the country today.

6. Lucky Ali

Known for his Bollywood numbers, as well as his own independently released music, Lucky Ali is a name synonymous with heady melodies and a mesmerizing voice. Set to headline the Proximus stage, make sure you don’t give the man with a golden voice a miss.

7. Prateek Kuhad

One of India’s most loved acts in recent times, Prateek Kuhad sure knows how to deliver a spellbinding performance with his soft voice backed by a guitar or a piano. With hits such as ‘Tune Kaha’, ‘Oh Love’, and many more, the singer/songwriter will be enchanting festival goers at the Proximus stage.

8. Don Diablo

One of the finest producers in the dance music scene at the moment, Don Diablo has been credited with revolutionizing the Future House genre, and with his eclectic sets and stunning visual production, the Dutch DJ/producer will be going all guns blazing at the Majoris.

9. Skazi

Yet another name for those who prefer the psychedelic side of music, Skazi has been in the psytrance scene for nearly two decades now, and the Israeli veteran is all set to kick up a storm at TIMEOUT 72 with his set.

10. Third Party

British progressive house act Third Party have been known for putting out some incredibly melodic and uplifting music, and the duo will continue dishing out proper bangers during their set at the Majoris stage at the festival.
