10. Gurbax – AghoriGurbax Aghori

One of the hottest names within the Indian bass music scene, Gurbax recently introduced the world to his debut 5-track EP ‘Heady Cuts‘. But the track which takes the cake and makes it to this month’s list of our Top 10 releases is none other than his collaboration with Mr. Doss. A melting pot of dubstep, trap and hip-hop sounds, Gurbax’s ‘Aghori‘ is relentless in its approach, and makes sure to keep listeners on their toes till the last second.

 

9. Su Real & Dekaa – Mur GamusaSu Real Mur Gamusa

Another Indian bass music gem on the list, ‘Twerkistan‘ producer Su Real enlists Assamese rapper Dekaa for a brand new single ‘Mur Gamusa‘, and the end the result is quite stunning. Dekaa fires on all cylinders with raucous verses which graces a gnarly, trap-laced production effort. An adventurous ride which makes sure to tick all the right boxes, Su Real and Dekaa’s debut joint effort is going to send trap arms flying everywhere.

 

8. Marshmello & Selena Gomez – WolvesMarshmello Selena Gomez Wolves

Having been teased since mid 2017, Marshmello and Selena Gomez‘s highly anticipated collaboration, ‘Wolves‘ finally dropped last week. Selena’s evocative vocals with the ‘Silence‘ hitmaker’s upbeat synths and a subtle percussion work for a fine debut outing. Led by a mellow acoustic guitar work and vocals which introduce listeners to a ballad-like setting, the joint effort picks up pace steadily to foray into an subdued yet impactful break.

 

7. Alan Fitzpatrick – Magnetic DogAlan Fitzpatrick Magnetic Dog

Techno mainstay Alan Fitzpatrick returned to action earlier this month with a stunning new production, titled ‘Magnetic Dog‘, and it’s an absolute dance floor heater. Pounding beats and hard hitting background elements with complex acidic nature, it makes for a proper peak time number.

 

6. DJ Snake – Broken SummerDJ Snake Broken Summer

DJ Snake returned to production duties this October to treat his fans to ‘Broken Summer‘ featuring Max Frost. The ethereal tune albeit leaning towards a slower tempo, is certainly an infectious number which has already become a hot favourite amongst listeners around the world. With a stripped down production effort which accompanies Max’s glittering vocals, the brand new single is yet another impressive showcase of the Frenchman’s pop sensibilities.

 

5. George FitzGerald – BurnsGeorge FitzGerald Burns

One of UK’s finest, George FitzGerald continued on his exploration of new sounds with ‘Burns‘ which was released this October. Led by vocal chants which transcend towards a gripping progressive melody, the proceedings take a remarkable return as the ‘Full Circle‘ hit maker conjures up a hypnotic blend of melancholic and club-ready sounds for a surreal experimental tune which hits home.

For Vivrant Records’ 10th release, label boss Jeremy Olander took over the duties to dish out his stunning new 3-track ‘Gattaca‘ EP! And with its standout cut ‘Galheera‘, the Swedish heavyweight shows off his production abilities by crafting an engrossing masterpiece which takes listeners on a deep, yet phenomenal ride.

Martin Garrix has been an unstoppable force this year! And for his latest single ‘Forever‘, he teamed up with longtime friends and collaborators Matisse & Sadko. 2. Steve Angello – I KnowSteve Angello Inferno

Steve Angello returned to action this October to treat listeners to the sequel to his ‘Genesis EP‘ in the form of ‘Inferno: Act II‘. And the track which deserves a place on this list is ‘I Know‘. A surreal effort which takes you back to the 80’s with its textured, synth heavy melodies and vocal chops, the brand new production courtesy the Swedish mastermind is a masterful showcase of his musical sensibilities.

While Kygo gears up for the release of his sophomore album ‘Kids In Love‘, he recently shared his gorgeous new collaboration with One Republic. Titled ‘Stranger Things‘, the spellbinding new single is a masterful creation which sees Kygo lend his piano laden production work to band frontman Ryan Tedder for him to work his magic upon.
