Hyderabad based Rishi aka Midnight Traffic is one of the names that has kept occurring every now and then in the Indian underground scene. With the successful “Pentagram” EP release earlier this year on the label, he is back on Qilla Records, this time on remix duty for UK based Walking With Kings’ track ‘Ayan’. Starting off with a subtle kickdrum favoured by a hypnotic bassline cleverly cued off the original, in his remix Midnight Traffic brings in the main theme gradually in all its glory. The breakdown is as mesmerising as the original, while it is the following addition of his own textured beats that provide for a perfect peak-time dance floor vibe. Certainly one of the names to look out for, Midnight Traffic‘s remix of ‘Ayan’ has been released as a part of Walking With Kings’ “Ostkreuz” EP, and you can get it now off Beatport.
