Watch This: Su Real Teams Up With Assamese Rapper Dekaa For Thunderous New Single ‘Mur Gamusa’!

Su Real Dekaa Mur Gamusa

One of India’s finest bass music acts, Su Real has been a pioneering force behind the growing popularity of the ‘desi bass‘ sound in recent years. The New Delhi-based bass don who blasted onto the scene with his debut album Trapistan back in 2014, has gone on to enthrall fans with his unique, high octane creations. And now fresh off the recent success of his sophomore LP Twerkistan, Su Real has finally returned to production duties for a stellar new single.

Titled ‘Mur Gamusa‘, the special collaboration with multi-talented act Dekaa is a thrilling sonic journey which traverses through the wildest regions within the bass music territory. Upon kickoff, Su quickly sets the pace before being joined by the Assamese rapper who fires on all cylinders with raucous verses which graces a gnarly, trap-laced production effort. An adventurous ride which makes sure to tick all the right boxes, Su Real and Dekaa’s debut joint effort is going to send trap arms flying everywhere.

Talking about ‘Mur Gamusa‘, Su Real explained:

“I wanted to make a dark track that represents the brutal honesty of ground realities for youth in the Northeast. I introduced Dekaa to old school influences like U.S. rap groups Public Enemy and N.W.A. who conveyed delicate matters in a poetic but urgent manner. Dekaa knocked the lyrics out of the park and did a tremendous job with the delivery – I think the message resonates even if you don’t understand the lyrics.”

Accompanied by an equally impressive music video which has been directed by Dekaa himself, Su Real’s latest track is an ode to the youth from regional cultures struggling to co-exist in the great Indian melting pot. After all, the ‘gamusa‘ is our symbol of unity.
