After having released two singles off their upcoming EP, ‘Kaleidoscope’, Coldplay have now premiered the third single off the record, titled ‘A L I E N S‘.
Co produced by Brian Eno and and co-written by Brian Eno and Markus Dravs, the track’s lyrical theme seems to play around refugees fleeing their war torn land to seek shelter somewhere else, with Chris Martin‘s ethereal vocals sitting perfectly on top of some great production. The lyric video depicts an alien family as they escape their planet to seek refuge, trying to find a new home. The proceeds of the track will benefit MOAS’s (Migrant Offshore Aid Station) work rescuing migrants in peril at sea.
