David Guetta unveiled his brand new single ‘2U‘ with Justin Bieber earlier this month! And having already topped the charts around the world with his latest weapon, the French veteran has now delivered a brand new remix of Bruno Mars’ ‘Versace on The Floor‘. Taking on the prime cut from the pop star’s ‘24K Magic‘ album, David debuted the remix earlier yesterday to a packed crowd at Ushuaia Ibiza.
A laid back yet effective rework which equips itself with a disco-inspired sound, the renowned producer keeps things simple for a smooth, new offering. Led by Mars’ exceptional vocal effort, the remix does the trick with its upbeat, dance floor ready characteristics. Talking to the audience about his latest effort before premiering it to the world, he said:
“I’m super proud that I had the opportunity to work with Bruno Mars on ‘Versace on the Floor.’ It is more than a remix; it is a collaboration and combination of different worlds together. My goal was to make it more dance and DJ friendly, but still respect the music that he came with, and keep the song and his voice in tact because it’s so beautiful. I hoped to create something that would not just be for one community, just like Bruno makes quality music that speaks to a wide audience. He’s really a next level musician and songwriter. I knew that already, but by working on his music I realized it even more so.”
