This Upcoming Band From Australia Enlisted Daft Punk As Producers For Their Latest Track, And It Sounds Incredible!

Getting Daft Punk to produce a track for you is not an easy task, unless you’re The Weeknd or Kanye West. However an upcoming band from Australia has just managed to do that.

Founded in 2014, Parcels is a pop-electro band from Byron Bay, Australia, and the group have just hit the jackpot after getting Daft Punk to co-produce and co-write their latest single ‘Overnight‘. Featuring clear influences of funk and soul from the French duo’s last studio album ‘Random Access Memories‘, the track is an absolute delight. The track is a part of the band’s upcoming EP ‘Hideout‘, and will be released on Kitsuné Musique and Daft Punk’s own Daft Trax imprint.

The collaboration also marks Daft Punk‘s return on production duties as a duo, after producing ‘Starboy‘ and ‘I Feel It Coming‘ for The Weeknd last year. More recently, Thomas Bangalter was enlisted by Arcade Fire to co-producer their latest single ‘Everything Now‘.
