What unarguably has been a long time coming, Steve Aoki has finally unveiled his highly awaited single ‘Without U‘. The latest track, in collaboration with DJ/producer duo DVBBS and 2 Chainz, was recorded in early 2016 after Aoki spoke with the Atlanta rapper for years about a potential joint effort, resulting in a co-produced banger that he recorded separately in his studio.
Officially debuted at Ultra Miami earlier this year, the track sees itself take on a festival-trap direction further bolstered by 2 Chainz’ signature vocals. Featuring blaring synths, crisp percussion work, and a strictly trap-leaning beat, their newest single boasts of all the characteristics to dominate the ongoing festival season.
