Martin Garrix & Brooks – Byte

Martin Garrix Brooks

Martin Garrix isn’t the one who wants to stick to just one sound. Having started his career with the big room monster ‘Animals‘, the Dutch prodigy followed up his debut single with a number of big room electro house tracks, including ‘Tremor’, ‘Wizard’, ‘Turn Up The Speakers’ among many others. 2015 and 2106 saw Garrix experiment with his sound, taking more of a progressive house approach with his tracks, with ‘Now That I’ve Found You’, ‘Lions In The Wild’, ‘Dragon’ and others, while also experimenting with future bass through ‘In The Name Of Love’, and his latest single ‘Scared To Be Lonely‘.

Now Garrix has gone back to his roots for his latest single, titled ‘Byte‘ in collaboration with fellow Dutch producer Brooks, channeling the big room progressive house sound, with a touch of future house. Featuring exuberant synths (very similar to the ones used in Tremor), a driving bassline coupled with a bouncy breakdown, the track is set to be a staple in many a festival mainstage sets to come.
