With less than a month to go before Gorillaz officially make their highly awaited comeback with the release of their latest album ‘Humanz‘, the virtual band led by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett has already added fuel to the ever growing hype amongst fans having dropped four brand new singles earlier last month.
A feature-filled LP that boasts of several A-listers including Noel Gallagher, Grace Jones, Carly Simon, Mavis Staples, Danny Brown, De La Soul, and more, Our Artist Of The Month for April have now teamed up with renowned acts Mavis Staples and Pusha T for one of the more finer cuts from the album. Titled ‘Let Me Out‘, their latest jam sees Pusha T dish out some powerful bars over a steady, electronic beat before the legendary female singer drops in to lend her lovely, soulful vocals for an effervescent hook. With additional vocals provided by Damon himself, stream the track below.
‘Humanz’ is set to arrive on April 28 via Parlophone.
