Two heavyweight names in the bass music scene, Bassnectar and Dirtyphonics have teamed up to stun everyone. Their new drumstep tune “Watch Out” featuring Ragga Twins is everything you’d want from such a collaboration.
Bassnectar and Dirtyphonics need no introduction. Their work speaks for them and this one’s no exception. “Watch Out” is one heck of a roller-coaster ride full of twists-and-turns and ups-and-downs. It is majorly covered with a glitchy sample of Ragga Twins, similar to Bassnectar’s recent collaboration with ATLiens which came out on OWSLA. Rumbling bass and tensed synths are all over the break and while the buildup takes away things, the drop unleashes a huge bump in the energy with gritty growls and dynamic synths. Juggling the drum beats from dubstep to DnB, “Watch Out” is sure to keep you on your feet. Unveiled in last week’s Monstercat Podcast, this new tune is all set to rule festivals this season!
