A collaboration that has been a long time coming, Dillon Francis and G-Eazy have finally delivered their brand new track! Titled ‘Say Less‘, the new single not only marks the Mad Decent affiliate’s first legit move towards a hip-hop oriented direction, but sees rapper G-Eazy absolutely own Dillon’s festival-ready trap influenced production.
Talking about their brand new collaboration, Dillon said:
“G-Eazy and I had been talking about making a record for the past four years but our insane touring schedules never let us get in the studio together. In the beginning of the year it finally worked out when we were both in LA. One session turned into three and now we have our glorious song that we are so proud of.”
G-Eazy also weighed in on the brand new track saying:
“Dillon’s been the homie forever and we’ve always talked about collaborating, so this song was inevitable,” added G-Eazy.“It’s basically the bridge that connects two worlds — it’s where we meet in the middle creatively. It’s a party track about meeting a girl at a music festival and finding love under the influence of multiple illicit substances. It’s about being straight to the point… say less means say no more.”
With a highly awaited Coachella performance set to be delivered by Dillon Francis later this month, the producer/DJ’s plans to dominate the festival season are already looking clear! Co-incidentally, the release of ‘Say Less‘ also marks the launch of very own label, aptly titled IDGAFOS.
